About the company

Martiník Law Firm has extensive experience in providing legal support in the field of trade in security and defence material. Our team members have participated in securing strategic contracts for the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, including involvement in the preparation of EU directives on defence public procurement (participation in negotiations with EU institutions, NATO and the European Defence Agency).

The law firm provides legal advisory within public procurement for the defence and security sector, as well as in commercial, financial and criminal law, with a focus on complex disputes and arbitration proceedings, including international arbitrations conducted in English. The firm has experience with arbitrations exceeding CZK 1 billion in value, including proceedings before foreign arbitral tribunals.

The firm delivers legal advice in the above-mentioned areas and thereby supports the long-term growth of its clients within the competitive defence industry; it is a reliable partner for Czech state institutions and international partners.

The firm builds on the integration of academic, legislative and practical aspects of law. A partner of the firm serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Charles University and simultaneously acts as an advisor participating in the work of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

The firm maintains an international network of cooperating law firms, including jurisdictions such as Armenia, the China and Taiwan.
