About the company

The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen is a public university with technical, humanities, health and art study fields. AOBP activities mainly concern research collaborations, which are connected with the New Technologies - Research Center (NTC). It focuses on quantum materials, energy sources, smart means of transport and the quality of human life and health. One of the priority directions of NTC is R&D of infrared measuring and imaging systems for thermal diagnostics of technologies, people and the environment. Applications include, for example, diagnostics of the health status of people in military and field healthcare, diagnostics of the physical condition of people in military training or sports, epidemic monitoring of people on military bases, monitoring of the load and fatigue of operators of weapons systems and means of transport, the effect of thermal processes on humans - overheating, hypothermia, measurement of body temperature, the effect of clothing and thermal comfort.
