About the company
TATRA TRUCKS is of the oldest automotive manufacturers in the world, with more than 170 years of production tradition. Our all-wheel-drive trucks feature a unique chassis design based on a central load-carrying tube and independently suspended swinging half-axles. We produce them in configurations ranging from 4x4 to 16x16. These vehicles form the backbone of the Czech Army’s fleet and are also used by armed forces around the globe. We export over 80% of our production. In addition to our standard model lines, we offer custom-built solutions tailored to the specific needs and requirements of our customers. TATRA FORCE – Our Strength in Defense The TATRA FORCE model line is our flagship product in the defense sector. It is built on our proven chassis and powered by an air-cooled TATRA V8 engine (available in Euro 2 to Euro 5 versions), paired with a TATRA manual transmission – either with direct shifting or with our electronic shifting system. We also offer water-cooled engines from renowned manufacturers such as Cummins and Caterpillar, as well as fully automatic transmissions from brands like Allison.

TATRA FORCE is available with both standard and armored cabins, offering high levels of ballistic and mine protection in accordance with NATO STANAG 4569 standards. The cabins come in two-door and four-door versions, with a crew capacity of up to 6 (1 + 5).
