About the company

STV GROUP a.s. is one of the leading companies in the Czech defence industry and the country’s only manufacturer of large-calibre ammunition. Its portfolio includes artillery, tank and mortar rounds, as well as medium-calibre ammunition, plastic explosives and special engineer munitions. A sister company STV Technology complements the range with small-calibre production.
STV GROUP also focuses on the repair and modernization of heavy military vehicles, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery systems, and operates extensive storage facilities for ammunition and explosives. The company is expanding into the development and production of ballistic protection for individuals, such as helmets and bulletproof vests. Continuous investment strengthens its manufacturing and repair capacities. Its main customer is the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, while it also supplies partners within NATO and other international clients.
