About the company

Explosia is the traditional and most important Czech manufacturer of explosives, 100% owned by the Czech state. It´s an internationally known and important manufacturer of smokeless powders, black powder, industrial explosives, Bi-modular propellant charges for large-caliber ammunition, air rescue devices, and other specialties, including the world›s most famous plastic explosive, Semtex. An important part of Explosia is also the Research Institute of Industrial Chemistry with more than 70 years of tradition. In recent years, the Fospol division is also an important part of Explosia, offering a comprehensive range
of quarrying services.
